Riyad as-Salihin — Hadith #46152

Hadith #46152
On the authority of Anas, may God be pleased with him, he said: When we camped, we would not say tasbih until we had left the journey. ((Narrated by Abu Dawud with a chain of transmission according to the conditions of Muslim)). And his saying: We do not say tasbih means we do not perform voluntary prayers, and its meaning is: I - despite our keenness to pray - do not give it precedence over traveling or resting animals.

Anas ibn Malik (RA)
