Hadith #46183
وعن ابن مسعود رضي الله عنه قال ‏:‏ قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏:‏ ‏ "‏من قرأ حرفًا من كتاب الله فله حسنة، والحسنة بعشر أمثالها لا أقول‏:‏ ألم حرف، ولكن ألف حرف، ولام حرف، وميم حرف‏"‏‏(‏‏(‏راوه الترمذي وقال‏:‏ حديث حسن صحيح‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
On the authority of Ibn Masoud, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever reads a letter from the Book of God will have a good deed, and a good deed is multiplied ten times as much. I do not say: Lam is a letter, but Alif is a letter, Laam is a letter, and Meem is a letter.” ((Al-Tirmidhi narrated it and said: A good and authentic hadith)).
