Hadith #46244
عن علي رضي الله عنه قال: الوتر ليس بختم كصلاة المكتوبة ولكن سن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال:
"إن الله وتر يحب الوتر، فأوتروا يا أهل القرآن". ((رواه أبو داود والترمذي)). وقال: حديث حسن.
On the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, he said: Witr is not a seal like the obligatory prayer, but it is the Sunnah of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. He said:
“God is the odd string and loves the odd string, so perform the string, O people of the Qur’an.” ((Narrated by Abu Dawud and Al-Tirmidhi)). He said: It is a good hadith.
