Hadith #46269
وعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال‏:‏ ‏ "‏إذا قام أحدكم من الليل فليفتتح الصلاة بركعتين خفيفتين‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه مسلم‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “When one of you gets up at night, let him begin the prayer with two light rak’ahs” (Narrated by Muslim).
