وعن ابن مسعود، رضي الله عنه قال: قلت يا رسول الله أي العمل أحب إلى الله تعالى؟ قال: "الصلاة على وقتها" قلت: ثم أي؟ قال: "بر الوالدين" قلت ثم أي: قال: "الجهاد في سبيل الله" ((متفق عليه))
On the authority of Ibn Masoud, may God be pleased with him, he said: I said, O Messenger of God, which work is most beloved to God Almighty? He said: “Prayer on time.” I said: Then what? He said: “Honoring one’s parents.” I said: Then what: He said: “Jihad for the sake of God” ((Agreed upon))
