حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، وَحَبِيبٍ، وَهِشَامٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ‏:‏ لاَ يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ‏:‏ عَبْدِي وَأَمَتِي، وَلاَ يَقُولَنَّ الْمَمْلُوكُ‏:‏ رَبِّي وَرَبَّتِي، وَلْيَقُلْ‏:‏ فَتَايَ وَفَتَاتِي، وَسَيِّدِي وَسَيِّدَتِي، كُلُّكُمْ مَمْلُوكُونَ، وَالرَّبُّ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ‏.‏
Hajjaj bin Minhal told us, he said: Hammad bin Salamah told us, on the authority of Ayyub, Habib, and Hisham, on the authority of Muhammad, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Prophet May God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he said: Let none of you say: My servant and my female slave, nor let the slave say: My Lord and my Lord, and let him say: My servant. And my girl, my master and my lady, you are all owned by the Lord God Almighty.
