Hadith #47021
حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ: ثَلاَثٌ كُلُّهُنَّ حَقٌّ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ: عِيَادَةُ الْمَرِيضِ، وَشُهُودُ الْجَنَازَةِ، وَتَشْمِيتُ الْعَاطِسِ إِذَا حَمِدَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ.
Malik bin Ismail told us, he said: Abu Awanah told us, on the authority of Omar bin Abi Salamah, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. He said: There are three duties that are obligatory upon every Muslim: visiting the sick person, witnesses to the funeral, and praising the sneezer when he praises God. Glory be to Him...
