حَدَّثَنَا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ غَيْرَ اسْمَ عَاصِيَةَ وَقَالَ: أَنْتِ جَمِيلَةُ.
Sadaqa bin Al-Fadl told us, he said: Yahya bin Saeed Al-Qattan told us, on the authority of Ubayd Allah, on the authority of Nafi’, on the authority of Ibn Umar, that the Prophet changed his name. Asiya and he said: You are beautiful.
