حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سَعْدَ بْنَ عُبَيْدَةَ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيِّ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي جَنَازَةٍ، فَأَخَذَ شَيْئًا فَجَعَلَ يَنْكُتُ بِهِ فِي الأَرْضِ، فَقَالَ: مَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلاَّ قَدْ كُتِبَ مَقْعَدُهُ مِنَ النَّارِ، وَمَقْعَدُهُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ، قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَفَلاَ نَتَّكِلُ عَلَى كِتَابِنَا، وَنَدَعُ الْعَمَلَ؟ قَالَ: اعْمَلُوا، فَكُلٌّ مُيَسَّرٌ لِمَا خُلِقَ لَهُ، قَالَ: أَمَّا مَنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ السَّعَادَةِ فَسَيُيَسَّرُ لِعَمَلِ السَّعَادَةِ، وَأَمَّا مَنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الشَّقَاوَةِ فَسَيُيَسَّرُ لِعَمَلِ الشَّقَاوَةِ، ثُمَّ قَرَأَ: {فَأَمَّا مَنْ أَعْطَى وَاتَّقَى وَصَدَّقَ بِالْحُسْنَى}.
Adam narrated to us, he said: Shu’bah narrated to us, on the authority of Al-Amash, he said: I heard Saad bin Ubaidah speaking, on the authority of Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Sulami, on the authority of Ali May God be pleased with him. He said: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was at a funeral, so he took something and began to scratch it on the ground, and said: None of you There is no one but it has been written that his place is in Hell and his place is in Paradise. They said: O Messenger of God, shall we not rely on our Book and give up deeds? He said: Work, for everyone will be facilitated for what he was created for. He said: As for whoever is among the people of happiness, he will be facilitated for the work of happiness, and as for Whoever is among the people of misery will be made easy for the act of misery. Then he recited: {But as for he who gives, and fears, and believes in good deeds}.
