Al-Adab Al-Mufrad — Hadith #47446

Abdullah bin Saleh told us, he said: Al-Layth told me, he said: Uqail told me, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, he said: Abdul Rahman bin Abd told me Allah ibn Ka’b ibn Malik, that Abdullah ibn Ka’b, who was a leader of Ka’b’s sons when he became blind, said: I heard Ka’b ibn Malik speaking His speech when he lagged behind the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, in the battle of Tabuk, and God turned to him in repentance: And the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, declared God’s repentance upon us when he prayed. Fajr prayer, and people came to me one by one, congratulating me on my repentance, saying: May God’s repentance be upon you. Until I entered the mosque, I saw the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, surrounded by people, and Talha bin Ubaidullah came running to me, until he shook hands with me and congratulated me, by God. No man from among the immigrants came to me other than him, and I will never forget her for Talha.
