حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بِشْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ ثَوْبَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي حَسَّانُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ ، أَنَّ أَبَا كَبْشَةَ السَّلُولِيّ حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ثَوْبَانَ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" سَدِّدُوا، وَقَارِبُوا، وَخَيْرُ أَعْمَالِكُمْ الصَّلَاةُ، وَلَنْ يُحَافِظَ عَلَى الْوُضُوءِ إِلَّا مُؤْمِنٌ "
Yahya bin Bishr narrated to us, Al-Walid bin Muslim narrated to us, Ibn Thuban narrated to us, he said: Hassan bin Atiyya narrated to me, that Abu Kabshah al-Saluli told him that he heard Thawban, the servant of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: And he said: “Seek and be near, and the best of your deeds is prayer, and no one will perform ablution properly except a believer.”
