حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، وَالْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ ، عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" اسْتَقِيمُوا وَلَنْ تُحْصُوا، وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ خَيْرَ أَعْمَالِكُمْ الصَّلَاةُ " وَقَالَ الْآخَرُ : " إِنَّ مِنْ خَيْرِ أَعْمَالِكُمْ الصَّلَاةَ " " وَلَنْ يُحَافِظَ عَلَى الْوُضُوءِ إِلَّا مُؤْمِنٌ "
Muhammad bin Yusuf narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, on the authority of Mansour, and Al-Amash, on the authority of Salim bin Abi Al-Ja’d, on the authority of Thawban, the servant of the Messenger of God God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Be upright and you will not be counted, and know that the best of your deeds are “Prayer.” And the other said: “One of the best of your deeds is prayer.” “And no one will perform ablution properly except a believer.”
