أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُسْهِرٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، أَنَّ" نِسَاءَهُ وَأُمَّهَاتِ أَوْلَادِهِ كُنَّ يَغْتَسِلْنَ مِنْ الْحِيضَةِ وَالْجَنَابَةِ، وَلَا يَنْقُضْنَ شُعُورَهُنَّ، وَلَكِنْ يُبَالِغْنَ فِي بَلِّهَا "
Muhammad bin Uyaynah informed us, on the authority of Ali bin Mushar, on the authority of Ubayd Allah, on the authority of Nafi’, on the authority of Ibn Umar, may God be pleased with him, that “his wives And the mothers of his children used to wash themselves after menstruation and sexual impurity, and they did not untie their hair, but they wetted it excessively.”
