Sunan ad-Darimi — Hadith #54993

Muhammad ibn Mahran informed us, Miskin al-Harrani informed us, on the authority of Ja`far ibn Burqan, on the authority of Yazid ibn al-Asam, on the authority of al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib, and he said: I saw in a dream as if the sun or the moon, and Abu Ja`far doubted that the earth was being raised to the sky in strong bands, so he mentioned That was due to the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and he said: “That is the death of your brother’s son, meaning the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, himself.”
