أَخْبَرَنَا الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ الثَّقَفِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي لَيْلَى هُوَ الْكِنْدِيُّ ، عَنْ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ غَفَلَةَ ، قَالَ : أَتَانَا مُصَدِّقُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخَذْتُ بِيَدِهِ، فَقَرَأْتُ فِي عَهْدِهِ : " أَنْلَا يُجْمَعَ بَيْنَ مُتَفَرِّقٍ، وَلَا يُفَرَّقَ بَيْنَ مُجْتَمِعٍ خَشْيَةَ الصَّدَقَةِ "
Al-Aswad bin Amir told us, Sharik told us, on the authority of Uthman Al-Thaqafi, on the authority of Abu Laila Huwa Al-Kindi, on the authority of Suwayd bin Ghafla, he said: The authenticator of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, came to us, and I took his hand and read in his covenant: “Not to unite what is separate, and not to differentiate between... gathered together out of fear of charity.”
