حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ :" أَلْحِقُوا الْفَرَائِضَ بِأَهْلِهَا، فَمَا بَقِي، فَهُوَ لِأَوْلَى رَجُلٍ ذَكَرٍ "
Muslim bin Ibrahim told us, Wahib told us, Ibn Tawus told us, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. And he said: “Attach the duties to those who deserve them, so whatever is left will go to the most worthy male.”
