أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الرَّقَاشِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ هُوَ ابْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ ، عَنْ مَعْدَانَ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ ، عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ :" مَنْ سَأَلَ النَّاسَ مَسْأَلَةً وَهُوَ عَنْهَا غَنِيٌّ، كَانَتْ شَيْنًا فِي وَجْهِهِ "
Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Raqqashi told us, Yazid told us: He is Ibn Zuray’, Sa’id told us, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Salim bin Abi Al-Jaad, on the authority of Maadan bin Abi Talha, on the authority of Thawban, the servant of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace And he said: “Whoever asks people a question and is rich in it, it will be a disgrace on his face.”
