أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ هُوَ ابْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : بَيْنَا رَجُلٌ وَاقِفٌ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِعَرَفَةَ ، فَوَقَعَ عَنْ رَاحِلَتِهِ أَوْ قَالَ : فَأَقْعَصَتْهُ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" اغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ، وَكَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْنِ، وَلَا تُحَنِّطُوهُ، وَلَا تُخَمِّرُوا رَأْسَهُ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى يَبْعَثُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُلَبِّيًا "
Suleiman bin Harb told us, Hammad, who is Ibn Zayd, told us, on the authority of Ayyub, on the authority of Sa’id bin Jubayr, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said: Between us A man was standing with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, at Arafat, and he fell from his mount, or he said: so it stopped him, so the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Peace and blessings of God be upon him: “Wash him with water and lotus leaves, and shroud him in two garments, and do not embalm him, and do not cover his head, for God Almighty will resurrect him on the Day of Resurrection fulfilled.”
