Sunan ad-Darimi — Hadith #55117

It is only Loyalty goes to the one who freed her.” So she bought her and freed her, and he gave her the choice of her husband, and he was free, and the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was brought with meat. He said: “Where is this from?” It was said: You give it in charity to Barira, and he said: “It is charity for her, and for us it is a gift.”
