Sunan ad-Darimi — Hadith #53555

Sa'id bin Amir told us, on the authority of Shu'bah, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Jari al-Nahdi, on the authority of a man from Banu Sulaym, who said: The Messenger of God made a contract with them. May God’s prayers and peace be upon him, in my hand, or he said: holding them in his hand and his hand in my hand: “Glory be to God, half of the scale is filled, and praise be to God it fills.” The scale, and God is Great, fills what is between the sky and the earth, and ablution is half of faith, and fasting is half of patience.”
