أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاق ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ بْنَ عَازِبٍ ، يَقُولُ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْقُلُ مَعَنَا التُّرَابَ يَوْمَ الْأَحْزَابِ، وَقَدْ " وَارَى التُّرَابُبَيَاضَ إِبِطَيْهِ "، وَهُوَ يَقُولُ : اللَّهُمَّ لَوْلَا أَنْتَ مَا اهْتَدَيْنَا وَلَا تَصَدَّقْنَا وَلَا صَلَّيْنَا فَأَنْزِلَنَّ سَكِينَةً عَلَيْنَا وَثَبِّتْ الْأَقْدَامَ إِنْ لَاقَيْنَا إِنَّ الْأُلَى قَدْ بَغَوْا عَلَيْنَا وَإِنْ أَرَادُوا فِتْنَةً أَبَيْنَا وَيَرْفَعُ بِهَا صَوْتَهُ
Abu Al-Walid told us, Shu’bah told us, Abu Ishaq told us, he said: I heard Al-Baraa bin Azib, saying: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was He, peace and blessings be upon him, will move the dust with us on the Day of Battle, and he “saw the white dust in his armpits,” and he said: Oh God, had it not been for You We were guided, and we did not give alms, nor did we pray, so they sent down tranquility upon us, and made our feet firm when we met them. Indeed, the evil ones have transgressed against us, even if they wanted. Our father's temptation, and he raises his voice because of it.
