حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَوَلَةَ ، عَنْ بُرَيْدَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" يَكْفِي أَحَدَكُمْ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا خَادِمٌ وَمَرْكَبٌ "
Affan told us, Hammad bin Salamah told us, on the authority of Al-Jariri, on the authority of Abu Nadra, on the authority of Abdullah bin Mawla, on the authority of Buraydah Al-Aslami. He said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “A servant and a vehicle are sufficient for one of you in this world.”
