أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو صَخْرٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مَكْحُولًا يَقُولُ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو هِنْدٍ الدَّارِيُّ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ :" مَنْ قَامَ مَقَامَ رِيَاءٍ وَسُمْعَةٍ، رَاءَى اللَّهُ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَسَمَّعَ "
Abdullah bin Yazid told us, Haywa told us, he said: Abu Sakhr told me, that he heard an alcoholic say: Abu Hind al-Dari told me He heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying: “Whoever takes a position of hypocrisy and reputation, God will see him on the Day of Resurrection and hear.”
