حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ عَتَّابِ بْنِ حُنَيْنٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ :" لَوْ حَبَسَ اللَّهُ الْقَطْرَ عَنْ أُمَّتِي عَشْرَ سِنِينَ، ثُمَّ أُنْزِلَ، لَأَصْبَحَتْ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي بِهَا كَافِرِينَ يَقُولُونَ : هُوَ بِنَوْءِ مِجْدَحٍ ".
يقَالَ : الْمِجْدَحُ كَوْكَبٌ.
يُقَالُ لَهُ : الدَّبَرَانُ
Affan told us, Hammad bin Salamah told us, he said: Amr bin Dinar told us, on the authority of Attab bin Hunayn, on the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “If God had withheld rain from my nation for ten years, and then sent it down, a group of My nation has disbelievers in it. They say: It is a glorified star. It is said: The glorified star. It is said to it: Al-Dabbaran.
