Sunan ad-Darimi — Hadith #55148

Ahmad bin Abdullah told us, Zuhayr told us, Musa bin Uqba told us, on the authority of Nafi’, on the authority of Ibn Umar: that the Jews came to The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saw a man and a woman among them who had committed adultery, and he said: “What do you do to those of you who committed adultery?” They said: We do not find it in it Something, then Abdullah bin Salam said to them: You lied, that in the Torah there is stoning, so bring the Torah and recite it if you are truthful, so bring the Torah. So one of them who taught it placed his hand on the verse about stoning, and said: What is this? When they saw that, they said: It is a sign. Stoning. “So the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, ordered them to be stoned,” so they were stoned close to where the funerals are placed at the mosque. Abdullah said: I saw its owner hiding over it, protecting it with stones.
