أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحَنَفِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنْ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ أُمُّ الْقُرْآنِ ، وَأُمُّ الْكِتَابِ ، وَالسَّبْعُ الْمَثَانِي "
Abu Ali al-Hanafi told us, Ibn Abi Dhib told me, on the authority of al-Maqbari, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said He said: “Praise be to God, the Mother of the Qur’an, the Mother of the Book, and the Seven Repeated Verses.”
