حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَنْ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ، فَقَالَ :" ثُلُثُ الْقُرْآنِ، أَوْ تَعْدِلُهُ "
Abdullah bin Maslamah told us, Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Muslim told us, on the authority of Muhammad bin Shihab, on the authority of Humaid bin Abdul Rahman On the authority of his mother: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was asked about “Say: He is God, One.” He said: “A third of the Qur’an, or an equivalent of it.”
