حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ ، حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلٌ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" لَمْ يَأْذَنْ اللَّهُ لِشَيْءٍ، مَا أَذِنَ لِنَبِيٍّ يَتَغَنَّى بِالْقُرْآنِ "، قَالَ صَاحِبٌ لَهُ : أَرَادَ : يَجْهَرُ بِهِ
Abdullah bin Salih narrated to us, Al-Layth narrated to me, Uqail narrated to me, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, Abu Salama narrated to me, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, that He used to say: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “God has not given permission to anything. He has not given permission to a prophet who sings of the Qur’an.” A friend of his said: He wanted to say it out loud
