Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #26267

Hanad narrated to us, Waki’ narrated to us, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Ali bin Zaid, on the authority of Sa’id bin Al-Musayyab, on the authority of Aisha, she said, “The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said.” If circumcision goes beyond circumcision, ghusl is obligatory.” Abu Issa said: The hadith of Aisha is a good and authentic hadith. He said: This has been narrated. The hadith on the authority of Aisha, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, through more than one source: “If circumcision exceeds circumcision, then it is obligatory to wash.” This is a saying. Most of the people of knowledge among the companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, include Abu Bakr, Omar, Othman, Ali, Aisha, and the jurists from The Successors and those after them, such as Sufyan al-Thawri, al-Shafi’i, Ahmad, and Ishaq, said that if the two circumcisions meet, washing is obligatory.
