Hadith #26288
Qutaibah narrated to us, Hammad bin Zayd narrated to us, on the authority of Ayyub, on the authority of Abu Qilaba, on the authority of Mu’adh, that a woman asked Aisha and said, “Should I One of us prayed during the days of her menstruation, and she said, “A Hurriyya, one of us was menstruating, so she should not be ordered to make up for it.” Abu Issa said this. Hadith Hassan Sahih. It was narrated on the authority of Aisha through more than one authority that a menstruating woman does not make up the prayer. This is the opinion of most jurists and there is no difference. They agreed that a menstruating woman is required to make up the fast but not to make up for the prayer.
