Ali bin Hajar and Al-Hasan bin Arafa told us, they said: Ismail bin Ayyash told us, on the authority of Musa bin Uqba, on the authority of Nafi’, on the authority of Ibn Umar, On the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, he said: “Neither a menstruating woman nor a woman in a state of impurity should recite anything from the Qur’an.” He said, and on the authority of Ali, Abu Jesus The hadith of Ibn Umar is a hadith that we do not know except from the hadith of Ismail bin Ayyash, on the authority of Musa bin Uqba, on the authority of Nafi’, on the authority of Ibn Umar, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. He said, “Neither the one who is in a state of sexual impurity nor the menstruating woman should recite it.” This is the opinion of most of the people of knowledge among the companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. And the Successors and those after them, such as Sufyan al-Thawri, Ibn al-Mubarak, al-Shafi’i, Ahmad, and Ishaq, said: A menstruating woman should not recite, nor should she The one who is junub says nothing of the Qur’an except the edge of the verse or the letter and the like, and they gave permission for the junub woman and the menstruating woman to glorify and glorify God. He said: And I heard Muhammad bin Ismail say that Ismail bin Ayyash narrates reprehensible hadiths on the authority of the people of Hijaz and the people of Iraq. He weakened his narration from them regarding what was unique to him. He said, “The hadith of Ismail bin Ayyash is only on the authority of the people of the Levant. And Ahmad bin Hanbal said: Ismail ibn Ayyash is more correct than the rest, and for the rest there are reprehensible hadiths narrated by trustworthy people. Abu Issa said: Ahmad ibn al-Hasan narrated to me, saying I heard Ahmad ibn Hanbal say that.
