Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #26329
Hadith #26329
Qutaibah told us, he said: Abdullah bin Wahb told us, on the authority of Saeed bin Abdullah Al-Juhani, on the authority of Muhammad bin Omar bin Ali bin Abi Talib, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Ali ibn Abi Talib, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said to him, “O Ali, there are three things that the prayer should not delay when the time comes.” And the funeral when it arrives, and the dead person when it finds someone who is suitable for it.” Abu Issa said: This is a strange and hasan hadith.
