حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِلاَلٍ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ مَا صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم صَلاَةً لِوَقْتِهَا الآخِرِ مَرَّتَيْنِ حَتَّى قَبَضَهُ اللَّهُ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ وَلَيْسَ إِسْنَادُهُ بِمُتَّصِلٍ ‏.‏ قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ وَالْوَقْتُ الأَوَّلُ مِنَ الصَّلاَةِ أَفْضَلُ ‏.‏ وَمِمَّا يَدُلُّ عَلَى فَضْلِ أَوَّلِ الْوَقْتِ عَلَى آخِرِهِ اخْتِيَارُ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ فَلَمْ يَكُونُوا يَخْتَارُونَ إِلاَّ مَا هُوَ أَفْضَلُ وَلَمْ يَكُونُوا يَدَعُونَ الْفَضْلَ وَكَانُوا يُصَلُّونَ فِي أَوَّلِ الْوَقْتِ ‏.‏ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بِذَلِكَ أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الْمَكِّيُّ عَنِ الشَّافِعِيِّ ‏.‏
Qutaibah narrated to us, Al-Layth narrated to us, on the authority of Khalid bin Yazid, on the authority of Sa’id bin Abi Hilal, on the authority of Ishaq bin Omar, on the authority of Aisha, she said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, prayed a prayer at the end of its time twice until God took him. Abu Issa said, “This is a good and strange hadith, and it is not Its chain of transmission is connected. Al-Shafi’i said: The first time of prayer is better. What indicates the superiority of the beginning of the time over its end is the Prophet’s choice May God’s prayers and peace be upon him, Abu Bakr, and Omar. They did not choose anything except what was best, and they did not claim virtue, and they were They pray at the beginning of the time. He said: Abu Al-Walid Al-Makki told us about that, on the authority of Al-Shafi’i.
