Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #26351

Qutaibah narrated to us, Abd al-Wahhab al-Thaqafi narrated to us, and Yazid bin Zuray’i narrated to us, on the authority of Khalid al-Hadha’, on the authority of Abu Qilabah, on the authority of Anas bin Malik, He said, “Bilal was commanded to recite the call to prayer and recite the Iqamah.” And on the authority of Ibn Umar, Abu Issa said, “And the hadith of Anas is a good hadith.” True. It is the opinion of some of the people of knowledge among the Companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the Followers, and Malik, Al-Shafi’i, Ahmad, and Ishaq also say this.
