Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #26301

Abu Issa said, and it is the opinion of more than one of the scholars. They said that if a man steps on a dirty place, it is not obligatory On him Washing the feet unless it is wet, in which case it washes off whatever came on it. Abu Issa said, and Abdullah bin Al-Mubarak narrated this hadith on the authority of Malik bin Anas, on the authority of Muhammad bin Amara, on the authority of Muhammad bin Ibrahim, on the authority of Umm Walad, by Hud bin Abdul Rahman bin Awf, on the authority of Umm Salamah. It is an illusion Abd al-Rahman bin Awf does not have a son called Hud, but rather he is a son of Ibrahim bin Abd al-Rahman bin Awf on the authority of Umm Salamah. And this is correct
