حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ هِلاَلِ بْنِ يِسَافٍ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ الْمُصْطَلِقِ، قَالَ كَانَ يُقَالُ أَشَدُّ النَّاسِ عَذَابًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ اثْنَانِ امْرَأَةٌ عَصَتْ زَوْجَهَا وَإِمَامُ قَوْمٍ وَهُمْ لَهُ كَارِهُونَ . قَالَ هَنَّادٌ قَالَ جَرِيرٌ قَالَ مَنْصُورٌ فَسَأَلْنَا عَنْ أَمْرِ الإِمَامِ فَقِيلَ لَنَا إِنَّمَا عَنَى بِهَذَا أَئِمَّةً ظَلَمَةً فَأَمَّا مَنْ أَقَامَ السُّنَّةَ فَإِنَّمَا الإِثْمُ عَلَى مَنْ كَرِهَهُ .
Hanad told us, Jarir told us, on the authority of Mansour, on the authority of Hilal bin Yasaf, on the authority of Ziyad bin Abi Al-Ja’d, on the authority of Amr bin Al-Harith bin Al-Mustaliq, he said: It was said that the people who will be most severely tormented on the Day of Resurrection are two: a woman who disobeys her husband and the imam of a people while they hate him. Hanad said Jarir said: Mansour said, “We asked about the matter of the imam, and we were told: By this he only meant unjust imams. As for whoever establishes the Sunnah, the sin is only upon him.” He hated him...
