حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرِ بْنِ حَازِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ كَانَتْ قَبِيعَةُ سَيْفِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنْ فِضَّةٍ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ ‏.‏ وَهَكَذَا رُوِيَ عَنْ هَمَّامٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ وَقَدْ رَوَى بَعْضُهُمْ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ قَالَ كَانَتْ قَبِيعَةُ سَيْفِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنْ فِضَّةٍ ‏.‏
Muhammad bin Bashar narrated to us, Wahb bin Jarir bin Hazim narrated to us, Ubayy narrated to us, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Anas, he said, “It was the hat of the sword of the Messenger of Allah.” God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, of silver. Abu Issa said: This is a hasan ghareeb hadith. And thus it was narrated on the authority of Hammam, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Anas, and he narrated Some of them, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Sa’id bin Abi Al-Hasan, said: The cap of the sword of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was made of silver.
