Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #26712

Abd al-Samad bin Sulayman narrated to us, Zakaria al-Lu’lui narrated to us, Abu Bakr al-Ayn narrated to us, Ali bin al-Madini narrated to us, Ahmad narrated to us Ibn Hanbal, Qutaibah narrated to us, with this hadith, meaning the hadith of Muadh. And the hadith of Muadh is a good and strange hadith that was unique to him. Qutaibah, we do not know of anyone who narrated it on the authority of Al-Layth except him. And the hadith of Al-Layth on the authority of Yazid bin Abi Habib, on the authority of Abu Tufayl, on the authority of Muadh, is a strange hadith. What is known to the people of knowledge is the hadith of Muadh, from the hadith of Abu al-Zubayr, on the authority of Abu Tufayl, on the authority of Muadh, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, In the Battle of Tabuk, he combined between noon and afternoon and between sunset and evening. Narrated by Qurrah bin Khaled, Sufyan Al-Thawri, Malik and others. One on the authority of Abu Al-Zubayr Al-Makki. And with this hadith Al-Shafi’i says. And Ahmad and Ishaq say there is no harm in combining The two prayers while traveling at the time of one of them.
