Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #26717

Abu Issa said, and it was narrated on the authority of Malik ibn Anas. He said that he should not pronounce “Allahu Akbar” in the rain prayer as he does “Allahu Akbar” in the Eid prayer. Al-Nu’man Abu Hanifa said: “It should not be prayed.” The prayer for rain, and I do not order them to change their cloak, but rather they make supplication and return in their entirety. Abu Issa said that it is contrary to the Sunnah.
