Hadith #27627
Ahmad bin Mani’ told us, Abdullah bin Al-Mubarak told us, Asim Al-Ahwal told me, on the authority of Al-Sha’bi, on the authority of Adi bin Hatim, he said, I asked The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, about hunting, and he said, “When you shoot your arrow, mention the name of God. If you find him killed, then eat except You find it falling into water, so do not eat, for you do not know whether the water killed it or your arrow. Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith.
