حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُوسَى، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ مَنْ لَمْ يَدَعْ قَوْلَ الزُّورِ وَالْعَمَلَ بِهِ فَلَيْسَ لِلَّهِ حَاجَةٌ بِأَنْ يَدَعَ طَعَامَهُ وَشَرَابَهُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ‏.‏
Abu Musa told us, Muhammad bin Al-Muthanna told us, Othman bin Omar told us, Ibn Abi Dhib told us, on the authority of Saeed Al-Maqbari, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Whoever does not give up false speech and acting upon it, God has no need of him giving up his food.” And his drink.” He said, and on the authority of Anas. Abu Issa said, “This is a good and authentic hadith.”
