Hadith #26926
Qutaibah told us, Hammad bin Zaid told us, on the authority of Ayyub, on the authority of Abdullah bin Shaqiq, he said: I asked Aisha about the Prophet’s fasting, may God bless him and grant him peace, she said: He used to fast until we said, “He fasted,” and he would break his fast until we said, “He broke the fast.” She said, “The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, did not fast for a full month.” Except Ramadan. And on the authority of Anas and Ibn Abbas. Abu Issa said the hadith of Aisha is a good and authentic hadith.
