Ali bin Hajar told us, Sharik told us, on the authority of Habib bin Zayd, on the authority of Laila, on the authority of her mistress, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, who said: “The fasting person, if He ate breakfast with him, and the angels prayed for him.” Abu Issa said, and Shu’bah narrated this hadith on the authority of Habib ibn Zayd, on the authority of Layla. On the authority of his grandmother, Umm Amara, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
