Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #26955

Muhammad bin Bashar narrated to us, Yahya bin Saeed narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Numair bin Uraib, on the authority of Amer bin Masoud, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “The cold spoil is fasting in the winter.” Abu Issa said: This is a mursal hadith. Amer bin Masoud did not meet the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he is the father of Ibrahim bin Amir Al-Qurashi, from whom Shu’bah and Al-Thawri narrated.
