Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #26981

Qutaibah narrated to us, on the authority of Malik bin Anas, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, on the authority of Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Al-Harith bin Nawfal, that he heard Saad bin Abi Waqqas and Al-Dahhak bin Qais, and they both mentioned performing the Umrah until the Hajj, and Al-Dahhak bin Qais said, “No one can do that except the one who does it.” Ignorance of the command of God. Then Saad said, “Wretched is what you said, my nephew.” Al-Dahhak bin Qays said, “Omar bin Al-Khattab forbade that.” Saad said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, made it and we made it with him. He said: This is an authentic hadith.
