Hadith #27643
Hanad narrated to us, Ibn Abi Zaida narrated to us, Ibn Abi Laila narrated to us, on the authority of Thabit Al-Bunani, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Laila, he said Abu Laila said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “If a serpent appears in a dwelling, say to it, ‘Indeed, we ask you by the covenant of Noah and by the covenant of Suleiman bin Dawud that she does not harm us, but if she returns, then kill her.” Abu Issa said, “This is a good, strange hadith that we do not know of from an established hadith.” Al-Bunani, except from this point of view, from the hadith of Ibn Abi Laila.
