حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَقَّتَ لأَهْلِ الْمَشْرِقِ الْعَقِيقَ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ ‏.‏ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ هُوَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ‏.‏
Abu Kurayb told us, Waki` told us, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Yazid bin Abi Ziyad, on the authority of Muhammad bin Ali, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace A time for the people of the East to bring the aqeeq. Abu Issa said: This is a good hadith. And Muhammad bin Ali is Abu Ja`far Muhammad bin Ali. Bin Hussein bin Ali bin Abi Talib.
