Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #27122

Ahmad ibn Mani’ and Muhammad ibn al-Wazir al-Wasiti al-Ma’ani narrated to us one by one. They said: Ishaq ibn Yusuf al-Azraq narrated to us, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Abd al-Aziz ibn Rafi`, he said: I said to Anas ibn Malik: Tell me something. I quoted it from the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, where he prayed the noon prayer. On the Day of Tarwiyah, he said, “At Mina.” He said, “Where did he pray the afternoon prayer on the Day of Departure?” He said, “Al Abtah.” Then he said, “Do as your commanders do.” Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith, which is strange from the hadith of Ishaq bin Yusuf Al-Azraq on the authority of Al-Thawri.
