Hadith #27154
Qutaibah narrated to us, Hafs bin Ghayath narrated to us, on the authority of Hisham bin Urwa, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Aisha, who said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was shrouded on three days. White Yemeni thobes, with no shirt or turban. He said, “Then they mentioned to Aisha their saying about two thobes and a single scarf.” She said, “Maybe.” He was brought with hail, but they returned it and did not shroud him in it. Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith.
