Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #27168

Abu Musa narrated to us, Muhammad bin Al-Muthanna narrated to us, Muhammad bin Bakr narrated to us, Yunus bin Yazid narrated to us, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, on the authority of Anas, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him He greeted Abu Bakr, Omar, and Uthman, and they were walking in front of the funeral. Abu Issa said, “I asked Muhammad about this hadith.” He said: This is an incorrect hadith in which Muhammad bin Bakr made a mistake. Rather, this hadith was narrated on the authority of Yunus, on the authority of al-Zuhri, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and Bakr and Omar were walking in front of the funeral. Al-Zuhri said, and Salem told me that his father was walking in front of the funeral. Muhammad said, and this is more correct
